K608 Freeze at startup :( - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I try to repair this phone with this instruction:

1. - Use Test Point - Checked
- Skip TP when flash MAIN, FS - NOT Checked
- Complete phone after flash - Checked
- Recover Certificate - NOT Checked
- Flash K600_CID49_R2F015_FullRepairFlash.mbn as MAIN file
- Connect/disconnect Test Point on phone when software ask

2. - Use Test Point - Checked
- Skip TP when flash MAIN, FS - NOT Checked
- On Repair tab mark Rebuild SP Area and Remake CRC's
- Do Selected Jobs
- Connect/disconnect Test Point on phone when software ask

3. - Use Test Point - Checked
- Skip TP when flash MAIN, FS - NOT Checked
- On Unlock tab mark Clear SP Locks
- Do Selected Jobs
- Connect/disconnect Test Point on phone when software ask

But I have still this problem. I need to add, the phone is freeze only with sim card (searching), without sim everything is ok.

Anyone have any idea how to solve it?

hi

Try to flash main and fs with ordinary flashfiles. After flash just clear sp locks and post result

check the phone if cid 36,37,or 49
than select the right files : main+fs+complete phone
that´s all and no need TP

you need TP if your phone is CID49 and you try to flash @full_repair_flash@

bro. you don't have to use tp even if the phone is cid 49... try remake crc first, if it does not work, flash main and fs, uncheck complete phone, after flshing, remove main,fs... check complete phone, do selected job then unlock.....pls. post result....

As I told in first post. I tried to do all 3 points of this solution, and nothing helped me.

My phone is Cid 49.

I flashed my k608 with TP. Program Says if i want to flash with repair flash, then i need to do TP. Withou TP i cant flash with this file.

But phone still freeze.
