LG 8120 Unlock Failed!!!! Help
 

Hi,

Thanks for reading my thread.

I received my USB-Smart today and I tried to unlock a LG8120 phone and the software shows that it has done 100% of the unlock. Wen I put in a 02 Sim it just says Insert correct USIM??????

What am I doing wrong? Where can I download all the flash files? I could not see it in the support area?

downgrade to v101 then unlock, will work 100%

What is the software version in the phone, did you enter 2945#*88110# to get into the unlock menu then enter 00000000.

try read codes then enter them as thcoms say alse u have to reflesh it to v101 sw

Flash phone with this file U8120_V101_Italy_DRIVEC.zip (for example - you can use another v101 drivec flash) - DRIVEC is enough.
next read codes and use :)
phone will see 2g sim cards

Don`t be to sure about that, I have a friend that had one 8120, and he tryed to downgrade the phone but still no luck with that, I dont know what the probem was but it did not work, maybe there is some bug in the soft or anything? as it is with 8110 ?

Yes, downgrading drive_c always works, although there is a bug with usb smart and 8110/20 phones.

Just use Vygis free, with those phone models.

If USB smart fails to unlock after showing Unlock ok... Then try some free sw's to unlock them.... If no luck either then dont fail to downgrade fone...

I went to the support site and cant see any flash files there.
