unlock LG 8330 - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys,
I need help to unlock LG u8330
Do I need to unlock it using TP?
and Do I have to use the latest LG3G tools?
Currently I am using 2.5

You will need TP only If Your phone has brown CID, or any other software problem. You can start work using v2.5 , it's ok too.

How can you check whether it's brown CID or not?

Open rear phone cover, remove battery read sticker, If You don't see a "(R)" characters than is Brown

otherwise,if phone is not brown.just do direct unlock for unlocking? do i need to flash it before unlock? thanks

You can do direct Unlock, if phone was not previously touched.

LG3 8330 UNLOCK
Can somebody can help me to unlock the lg3 8330 step by step. I tried to do it but it's give me that error : phone was not powered up, even if I switch it on before. Cheers Bamba
