1. flash euro/china/jp_unlocked (any of them, whichever you want) and take out battery 2. put in battery and unlock network locks and click "DO SELECTED JOBS" 3. take out battery... put in battery.. turn on phone by holding POWER for up to 15 seconds. all done.

if your phone was made before November, 2005, then you should flash the unlocked file that is not _november_. if you flash Euro or China, you can play mp3. to use music on japanese 903, you have to use itunes or redchair to convert your mp3 to AAC format. then it will play. if you want an AAC ringtone, it will have to be 300KB or less. and remember that the 903 needs you to copy the ringtone to the phone from the memory stick; so be careful because the 903 only has 8mb of memory available.
