903 shutdown after flashed sh903_jap_nov - GSM-Forum

My 903sh(bought in UK,200512) was Flashed with SH903_v1181_JAPAN_NOV_Unlocked and unlocked using Sharp3G_Tool_v31/v42.

Now the 903 does startup, but on 'please wait' screen, it shutdown everytime.

How can I solve this problem? Somebody please!

your phone is december right. only use NOV_unlocked if your phone was originally a Japanese 903. If your phone is originally a UK model, then please use sh903_japan_unlocked.

if your phone was originally a Japanese 903 (it has japanese on the keypad), then please follow these directions:

please put in the forum the first 9 digits of the IMEI number.

if the 7th-9th digits are 000, then you are ok and we must figure out why the phone won't turn on.

if the 7th-9th digits are 001, then you cannot unlock your phone. 001 phones are CID73 and are not unlockable at the moment.

Yes, it is December's one and UK model.
Tried SH903_v1071_JAPAN_Unlocked via Sharp3G_Tool_v21/v31, but the phone didn't start up even using # + power on.

Will try SH903_v1071_JAPAN_Unlocked again via latest v43 and post the result.
I appreciate the help

does 903 need to be unlocked after flashing? missing steps? just a guess.

use sharp tool v21 (pm me if you need it)
unlock after flash
DO NOT USE #+POWER

Tried sh903_v1071_japan_unlocked using sharp tool v21, then unlocked, my 903 doesn't start up even pushed power key over 30 sec.

Tried both phone type SH903_EU/SH903_JP, finished all OK but same result.

Only when flashed with SH903_v1181_JAPAN_NOV_Unlocked, the phone start up　(shut down on please wait screen though).

What should I do next? Cheers.

thats very strange. put in another battery from a charged phone.

make sure SIM card is not inside during flashing.

what are you using for external power? don't say 9v

Really strange. The battery is full charged, no sim inserted.
Used 3v and 9v alternately to find a solution.

What have I done for this phone....

PLS help me also I ve same problem with SHARP SH703 some says its chinese others says euro, how do I know the difference and now phone re-boot when innitialising what do I do to normalise it...
