actually.

phone may not be dead. i even heard that HWK can fix it.

but using usb smart:

ok. if you have a phone that wont work with the tool anymore (tool doesnt recognize it), follow this steps:

1. insert battery
2. plug in 4in1 cable (autopower cable or using 3, 3.7, 4.2V by alligator)
3. do selected jobs
4. it will say "press power on shortly"
5. insert POWER CABLE
6. then do flash as needed.

However, after flashing then unlocking with the same procedure, the phone will not boot.

3R,

their phones are not recognized by tool. so most likely the log won't say anything because it is not getting any signal.

That's exactly my problem. I just tried using an external charger to make sure the battery was full, and it still doesn't work. looks like I have to save up another $400

i havent seen this problem with usbsmart.. but i am positive it is happening.

i saw this problem 1 time with setool.

after flash and unlock, everything completes OK. but when trying to turn on the phone it wont boot.

after this, the phone will not connect to any tool. using setool you can make it connect again by flashing with the battery IN the phone and when it says "press power shortly" insert the charger.

however, after flash and unlock again, phone still doesnt power on.
