In my personal opinion the 903sh are a piece of crap. I had one and after 2 months decided to keep rebooting and would not go to the main 3g screen then normal main screen. got it repaired three times and with same problem occuring. It was a euro Australian vodafone firmware. Sharp finally gave me a new one after the 3rd time it did the same thing and straight away sold the phone on ebay. I think its a bug with the euro firmware which a newer firmware upgrade would fix...

sharp is a great phone if you take care of it. mine has no problems at all.

usually phone won't boot after flash if the battery is too low. make sure you charge the battery all the way before flashing.

always use 3 or 3.7v and DONT USE #+power.

tell us about your phones. maybe you are not flashing the right firmware.

find a copy of sharp tool v21
make sure sim is not in the phone during flash.
make sure you are flashing the correct files:
before november, dont use nov_unlocked.
after november, use nov_unlocked
december phones with 00/1 in IMEI (cid73) will not unlock (00/0 is ok)
january all impossible at the moment (cid73)

i dont know. something must have happened when the newer versions came out.

i think v21 is about the same as v30. v31 has read flash, but has some problems with fixing pre-903 sharp models.

Just use this file:
SX833_v102X_CHINA_2006_Unlocked.zip

@Kev: this also works on latest 903 phones (after Nov) and can play MP3 and can be cross-language-flashed More to come today and tomorrow.

Just play around with different flash files. Blinking phone or rebooting phone
means the flash file you used is not compatible with your phone. For example,
some DEC 2005 903 phones can't work with JAPAN_NOV_UNLOCK_903...
Just flash phone with different firmware until rebooting/blinking is cured. Also
make sure you are using the correct cable, power supply and TP.
