Member: 166873 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Motorola C975 shows RS-232 Serial when powered using *# I am trying to unlock a Motorola C975, the bootloader version is 5 something but I always get Switching to P2K and then Cannot Connect. The phone is from 3 Australia and I believe 3 have put some kind of restriction on the phone so that USB communication is disabled. I powered the phone using *#, it shows me the boot loader version on the screen and the firmware version and below that it says RS-232 Serial. Does this mean, I can only unlock the phone using serial RS-232 cable?? Please give your views and ideas on this. Thanks |

Member: 111871 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.78975 Thanks Meter: 100 | probably you have bad connection (cable problem). if u plug usb cable (pc and phone), and then put phone in boot mode, it accepts usb connection. when it not happen, it´s because phone is not properly attached to pc, which happens when u have a defective cable or dirty contacts. repair cable is a normal usb cable, only that pins 13 and 14 are connected. when you have no keyboard to use, for instance, it´s the only way to put phone in boot mode. br |
