v3 razr says its unlocked but still asks for unlock code - GSM-Forum

I have searched to see if any body else has found this problem but cannot see anything.
I have a v3 razr bootloader v 07.E0, sw v. R374_G_0E.40.3ER_A

Everytime i try to unlock it everything works as normal switches to p2k sends bootloader, unplug cable reboot plug cable back in unlocks powers down, and still when i put sim back in it asks for unlock code.

Any suggestions please, i have unlocked loads of these with no problems.
But this one is being difficult.

Any help greatly appreciated.

use this code 00000000 This is your subsidy code..try it and post result

Thanks for reply but this code is incorrect. It only seems to take 4 numbers but tried 00000000 and 0000 but neither correct thanks once again for your help

Hi try 1234 or press menu and input security code 000000 if code not been changed

if ur software says set is unlocked but when u on insert sim set same in old condation use another method if u have any other device if u havnt i think u need to flash ur set last soloution of it first try flash boot only and unlock it if fail then u need to be full flash of ur set

Many thanks this method worked a treat did not know my way round this phone type. Auto lock was enabled and this method allowed me to turn it off and now all is well. Many thanks.

yes it was security code i did not realise this was enabled and i also would not have known how to get round it even at default settings. so once again thanks for help on this thread.
