Samsung rj45 serial port cables not working any advice ? - GSM-Forum

I bought a USB smart with samsung activated, I have serial port to rj45 with 9v external for samsung cables .The programs starts up fine but when I connect serial port to rj45 the phone does not respond , program says timeout ?? ...Any advice !!!! I tried using different comm ports in USB Smart , I only have 1,3 and 4 to choose from.
