sir thanks for the link to access usb-smart dongle support. i have already downloaded that maintenance v40 and accessed the support area however i have a problem because the motorola feature was deactivated. can i recover it without cost?

Here is stated verry clear about activation file:

If u lost this file you need to ask your reseller to provide this again.

hi,

today i install my dongle and i try to update but when i press UPDATE shows 0% and dosent do anything. im using maintence 4.1. i can open all softwares without problem but i cant update my card. is that normal? is the first time im using this dongle.

Can you tell me from what country you are?

Some time is normal if your provider or contry block access to our server IP.

With 4.1 nothing happens when i try to update the dongle. Nothing at all...(no connecting to server, no "working on card")

With 4.0 it connect to update server and starts working on card. It stops @ 18% and nothing more happens.

I am located in Sweden, and will try to use 4.1 with a proxy and see if that helps.

(Got the dongle today, but have read LOADS the last months to know what to troubleshot)

EDIT:

Well, here is my solution:

I started v4.0 and used the update smartcard option.
When it frooze i pulled the usb-smart dongle out (this closes to program without the need to reboot as i couldn´t get it to close any other way)
I did this ~5 times and then it went to 100%.
I started v4.1 and i can now request samsung/motorola activation files.

install Usb-Smart Installer 3[1].4.exe

start Usb-Smart Maintenance 2.3
press update dongle smartcard
after that start mainenance 4.1
how you can activate motorola or samsung activations

thats all

Something is wrong with the maintenence 4.1 becouse with 3.1 i can update my card without any problem so looks like a problem with the soft, not with the internet provider.
