Exclamation Regarding dongle update, Do and Do Not....


Hi,

I just bought, and only used for unlocking 8 times only.
Then, after updating my dongle, suddenly i lost my MOTOROLA license.
Now it state as standard usb smart.

By the way, before update, its activate on Motorola only, samsung are not.

Also, actually, i have no idea why i update my dongle.

Question:
- What is the purpose of dongle update?
- When do we need to update dongle? What must we do / don't do regarding with dongle update?
- Why it kill license(s)?

i have lost my motorola license aswell

anyone got any ideas
and i lost the activation string as deleted as didnt think i needed it again
anyone help please

well the only way to retrive the activation string back is to contact your reseller or the person you did the update with but good luck

What?? Pay one more?? For what reason? Is this our false?
It no need to pay anymore... LOGICALLY i think.

My customer is also having same problem i gave him activation file again & update ok BUT when he unplugs dongle & inserts again its its says samsung is not active!!
dongle is directly into pc (no hub)????

Yes, its directly pluged on my work station. No hub.
No need to pay anymore. Glad to hear.
Just hope that my reseller will act like you do.

What a strange behaviour.. unpluged > inactive feature...

Hope Zulea will short this out, soon.

EDITED: All done, my reseller give me the activation code. FREE. Nice guy.
also try to plug-replug usb no problem.

Yes: DEFINED CLEARLY.

After update dongle smart card...
Its erasing all activation.
Note for all: Please keep your activation license. No problem at all if you got this kind problem.
