I'm trying to unlock the LG 500 for Rogers, I tried the Turbo Unlocker clip, but it's not working.
I have the latest update, the steps that i go throw are:
1. hook power to the clip
2. the power light will blink, then the data light will blink
3. after they both blink together, i push the power button on the phone
4. both lights on the clip become solid red
5. they both start blinking fast

i disconnect the phone and test it, but it's not unlocked.

Where did i go wrong?

I have a u.s.a. cingular LG 500 and I also have followed the same steps..and the phone is still locked...???

the unlocker box lights do show solid lights for a split second and then start flashing again..??

any suggestions team

if its a old 500 model then turbo unlocker will unlock, make sure your clip is updated, follow the 2 steps:

1. Connect the phone to clip
2. Give power to clip. 1 light will flash then 2 light will flash, when both light will flashing then power on the phone, your phone will be unlock.
Thats it.

well, what about the new LG 500 , I have a few of them , and none have been unlocked by the turbo unlocker.
when i follow those steps. the flashing lights freeze for a split second, than start flashing again....
does anyone know how long it will take to provide an update for the "new " stock of LG 500..please

well... what a shame!! didn't work on this LG 500 either! it's from rogers!
