Battery adaptors for CADEX are fairly expencive for non Pro's. The CADEX representative here in Greece told me that it costs around 1200 - 1500 euros and every adaptor (depends on which one) from 100 to 300. CADEX offers many things as Scaramouche said (label printing etc) But.. On the other hand UBA can also print reports with graphs and text. UBA has a very extended voltage range and works with many batteries. For me it is PERFECT because i only test 1 or 2 batteries per day. You also can design your own battery analysis routines wich gave me the ability to do many things. In general words: If you are a Pro and test many many batteries then Buy CADEX. If you are still a Pro and don't test so many batteries then buy UBA4. i also would like to ask people here of how much do they charge the customer for a battery test Thank you |

Adapter plate has eeprom which describes battery brand, chemistry, etc, etc. Also there is universal atapter with aligator clip, which costs $90. To interface with battery, i also make $.5 adapter, but it still has to go through universal adapter? Comprehedno? |

Member: 33547 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | You are absolutely right my friend but UBA4 doesn't need anything external except the batt connectors. So for "small" guys like me it is fine |

Member: 11937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Also here is another good hint. Take an old desktop charger, open it up, remove old PCB & wire up a plug to connect to the tester. This way it is a neat & easy way of connecting battery - the desktop charger already has the shape molded & the springs |
