BGA TOOLKITS


Can sum1 pleez show me a pic of this "BGA TOOLKIT"& tell me if it really works???I use my normal rework station successfully but IF this toolkit can save some time then WHY NOT?How much & from where can i buy? <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Hi Fizz,

BGA Toolkit is comprised is primarily used for re-ball plating of BGA ICs. It normally comes with a back and front plate and clamp. A solder paste (paste type soldering lead) and a spatula to force the paste into the holes on the front plate unto the BGA IC. You need 1? I think they are available in HK and Singapore.

do you have any idea how much this cost? having difficulty replacing parts specially the cobba...<br />its so hard or even impossible by just using soldring iron and hot air...

has anyone has a technique in changing the cobba of a 3210?

it's very easy with BGA tool<br />in Yugoslavia it cost about 75-100$<br />and comes from China ,Peking
