Compare our equipment! Each make their own list of machines they use, solder stations, hot air, preheaters, microscopes, consumables, etc etc ..

my equipment :

- solder iron ERSA ICON PICO 60w (good for precise soldering small components and
fpc connector )
- rework station YIHUA 853AAA 3 in 1 , solder iron 75w (mod.936) hot air + preheater
(very good)
- solder iron HAKKO CLONE FX951 (not good as the original not adviced)
- solder station WEP with hot air (pump ) and iron 60w (solder iron bad not adviced)
- microscope : optical (economic but good ) digital 2mpx good for ispection .

Hi
I also did not find the infrared useful now .. I used it to remove fpc connectors or some SIM readers placed on risky areas .. with the experience you can do it quietly without. (For me).
Anyway the his peculiarity is to desolder the connectors without damaging the plastic material.

It is not a tool that is used a lot ... but sometimes it is useful. To be used together with a good preheater obviously.

JBC is best soldering station of all I had. Real 0.1mm for handypice T210.

I bought mine used check ebay get stereo microscope 10x-20x max if youfind 20x-40-x then just get lower lens for microscope

3. 8580 hot air
4. Duratool soldering iron , 24v , 60w
5. IMac 27' , i7, 16gb , 1tb , hd6970 2gb graphics
6. Small vice for holding boards
7. Various screw drivers , tools , fluxes for soldering , solder down to size 0.25mm , kapton tape , solder paste etc....

I am looking for some 0.1mm or 0.2mm soldering tips or maybe advice on what tools will help with SMD rework , when working with iPhones and small caps / resistors.
