Member: 1119968 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | first post the model you have or want to buy . a power supply is very useful , you can power up phones with it , if you have an AMPER meter on the supply you can check if a power button is working ( connect the power supply to the phone and press power , and you can see if the phone starts drawing power = power button ok ) you can test if a phone draws more current than needed (usually water damage) , find shorts in phones (connect the leads to phone ,start from 0V and raise the voltage to 500-1000mA current draw and search for a hot area ..) and many more ... |
