Member: 1352483 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 24 | I need a hot-air/solder station I don't know how Iphone work... But i started buying water damaged ones to fix them for resale. I have a dozen or so that need repair So I'm looking for a hot-air solder station. Not looking for the top of the line model but don't want a cheap one either. Maybe the $200-$400 range Just light use is all. Ive googled, Ebayed etc... it's confusing to say the least You guys know what works and whats junk Help me make a good choice spend my money wisely Thank you Tony What i'll be doing with this is changing out the little coil that controls the backlight, the #1 connector etc |

Its a combo unit which is nice for my purposes and what really clinched the deal was the built in exhaust. I'll have to wait and see if it gets in the way of soldering but.... And i found it here in the states thru Amazon so it wont take two weeks or more to get to me. Thanks Tony |
