manual of oscilloscope 20 mhz

just get one of this thing without any manual

curious to know how it work, but nobody could explain it here

some page for viewing how an oscilloscope work would be really appreciated

more gladly if there's someone who could describe how to use it in gsm mobile repairing

Ps : also get rf counter 1 Ghz with 10 mhz output and 2.4 Ghz with 13 mhz output, someone advise that this device must be used with the oscilloscope in gsm mobile repairing, is it true ?

thanks

The screen of a scope is covered with vertical and horizontal lines for easy measurement. This is called the Gratiscule

A dot of light takes time to go horizontally from point A to B this is the timebase. The faster it goes thedot of light leaves a trail and eventually a line called a TRACE.

Vertical adjustment is the measure of voltage per box section so if a trace was inthe middle and you put 1 volt input and the vertical is set at 1volt per division it will jump one box line. Timebase X Voltage in equals frequency

not really... some using 100+mhz oscilloscope with frequency counter of course they can c exactly the frequency n wave exactly from the gsm diagram... but as i know china guys using an 20mhz oscilloscope without freq counter and they say is enough for them to repair... If u familiar with your oscilloscope i think dun need to spend a lot for a freq counter.
