need to know about leadfree hotair - GSM-Forum

as we all know that almost all the cellphone today have leadfree bga i just want to ask if in any particular hotair rework station that support this kind of dismantling because ordinary hotair took long time to melt bga balls sometimes to long the pcb bubble up like blackberry and psp boards they all have leadfree bga balls. I hope someone can guide me which hotair is for leadfree use so i could purchase that product and of affordable price.....tia

a hotair lead free station its quite pricy you can check JBC or HAKKO ......................I dont personally like infrared stations but maybe a cheaper solution for LF profile (check tornado, jovy etc etc).

i know its quite pricey if you will obtain this pricey product do you recommend any other product that is much cheaper and with the same quality of course...tia

To make your job easier with lead free boards use a preheater with a normal hotair station
