Which ones to buy - unlocking

Hi.

I was working in Mobile Phone Service Centre but it was 4 years ago. Back then I was using JAF for Nokia, SE Tool for Sony , NS Dongle(If i remember well the name) for Samsung and we had new MX (I`m not sure if that`s correct name) Pro for new Nokia BB5 unlocking with test point.

I am comming back to business now. I`ve seen some boxes on the web but mostly it is something like: buy one box you will get 100 credits for that, 100 for something else. Does that mean that now if you want to unlock a mobile phone than you need to have a box + it takes credits from your account? So if unlock costs 10 credits than I can unlock only 10 mobiles and after that i need to top up? In that case wouldn`t be easier not to buy a box but just unlock it by buying unlock codes for imei?

Another thing, I couldn`t find anything for Iphone. I`ve seen some tutorials how to unlock it by jailbreaking but is it the only way? I think than you would loose all the data on the phone.

Which boxes are the best to buy now(and not so expensive ), I think I will be doing mostly smartphones, so LG, Samsung, BB, Iphones, SE, maybe some Nokias.
