pcb tester

hi i checked on the internet about this circuit master 4000m form www.capetronics .com .

its said that it can measure all pcbs including all the components on it including signal injection and frequenci tester and so on can someone tell me if it it anygood?

Seems like an oscilloscope, multimeter and signal generator inside one box.

For the price of this thing, I don't think you will justify the cost in mobile phone repair.

All you really need is a digital multi meter, including continuity tester. This is for checking battery level, fuse condition or short circuit.

Also a small bench power supply for powering the handset without battery (also force charging dead batteries to bring back to life).

It will be vary rare to use even an oscilloscope when working on the handset. There is really not so much inside the phones to go wrong! And always start with forum search or better still - service manuals
