hi reo,

there are some board level fault finder that exist but maybe in pcb/pcba manufacturing floors only, considering its cost and practicality.it's not just like flashing a phone thru a single cable but testing from nodes to nodes thru hundreds of needles on an MDA or ICT and still it couldn't be accurate enough when the board is already mounted with components.
for instance, on dense pcba, there are some test points that are on critical area that should be left unprobed to avoid damaging the component/s.

der4, testing a board accurately can only be achieved on a bare pcb.

hope this clarifies, jst correct me if im wrong.

bst rgrds.

hiya

try to test Alcatel's mainboards!!! Heat it and when some black sh** comes out u r sure that it's broken...Instead of normal copper layers inside they use graphite paste... That explains why alcatel's are so cheap and such a rubbish !!!

Vule

P.S. Don't try this m8s!!! I'm only kidding
