for my knowledge i buyed a normal with manual wire and digital temperature set, i dont think that the so called semi-automatic worth the value, but now has arrived vacuum, that seems interesting but i have never used so far. for separation best tool is patience i'd like to learn some tricks too. for me the most difficult is removing the adhesive below lcd on samsungs...

regards

For me its always risky if touchpad is ok and display/lcd is bad or display/lcd is ok and touchpad is bad...
mostly i do when touchpad broken or bad then i use hot air gun for heat touchpad and use blade to separate and when touchpad ok and display bad then risky dont use hot air gun just using blade ...
but its truely risky i think some kind of model glue is very hard and want to learn from all of u............

yes there different types of glue, per example iphone 4 itself has different type not only brand different, so u have to set temperature right... the glue most not resist to wire if we apply many effort it may be because glue is not melted yet

Regarding separation... well.. I guess all "manual" machines are almost the same as long as the digital temperature is correctly working. Different brands and models need different temperature to be able to remove the glass in a smooth way. Patience is btw the best thing

Regardi Irda, I personally use the mopdel T-862++ and I find it ok., depends on the type of job that you have to do.

Cheers

The first one I got was only for small screens up to 7" then i bought one that allows me to do large screens. Paid $140 for the first and $350 for the larger one.

About IR stations I first had the Jetronix eco and now I have the RE-8500.
