Does any one know how to read the PUK off a SIM?

Just an assumption: There are mbus commands to read SIM info (PIN1,2 PUK1,2). Are these works when SIM is needed PUK code? Anyone try it yet?

only network providers can unlock the PUK code of the simcard... coz its has a random generated code... i know clyde is developing a software and a cable for this type of function... all of the softs... i know (smartmouse etc..) cannot scan or guess the PUK code of the simcard... maybe if you know someone from the a network provider.. maybe you can compramize with them <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> ahehehehhehehh

I don't know the name because i send my sim locked from another friend and this return me unlocked.

Are you sure your friend doens't work for an operator or SIM card manufacuter? I know that with a simple interface it's kind of hard...

The values are there but can only be accessed with usually level 15 or not at all. It's easier to issue a new card.

If you know of any soft that can accomplish this with a smartmouse/phoenix interface... please DO tell!

It's easier to test if KI can be evaluated without the PIN and cloning the card.
