| Reballing by hand. Hello everybody, First off, im new to the site so hello  Second, I would seek some advice on how to reball my hp dv 9000 series motherboard. Now I have seen videos on how to do and read up on it. I understand that a lot is at risk but I wanted to give it a try. I have 3 HP DV laptops that all failed due to that nvidia chipset problem. Can someone shed some light in regards to this? A few questions I have is: How to remove that "red" eproxy glue attached to the chip easily? I have a heat gun. What fluxs are needed? (is there a flux you apply to the chip before heating it to help take the chip off?) What size reballs do I need? (.35mm, .4mm) My friend has the reballing kit, but which template do i need? how can i tell? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |
