Dear Forum Members,
I think this situation needs explanation from my side.
GsmExp alias Cobweb (I will use his name Cobweb below) - well known on elite polish gsm groups as Kop-w-łeb (Kick-in-head) - guess why ?
GsmExp made for us few projects and there were always problems to receive anything from him on time. Last and THE LAST projects made by him were D500 clip and USB BOX.
We paid for USB box project IN ADVANCE on 8th March 2005 and GSMExp (Cobweb) promised to send it on 17th march 2005. After many reminders from our side we finaly received first beta project of USB box on 18th April 2005 so over 1 month later than promised ! Can you imagine it ?
We have to wait for corrections in scheme until 23-04-2005. Then we built prototype which was still not working. From 26-04-2005 to 05-05-2005 Mr. Cobweb was not reachable, because of his university exams and we did not get any support for this project in this time.
Now the box is still not working and our problems with it still have not been solved. Even his special solution sent to us on 13th May to link pin 2 with 9 in PL2303 did not help.
As Mr. Cobweb said he 'has NEVER flashed any phone using USB Box' (cite) and he is not able to help.

During our tries with usb box we ordered d500 unlock clip project from Cobweb and we agreed we will pay after receiving scheme and testing clip. First d500 hex was working fine, but we received second not working at all and finaly third was working fine.

We were still waiting for solving the problem with usb box, but the only thing Mr. Cobweb said was an ultimatum to pay for d500 clip first. I told him - 'No, make this usb box scheme working first or tell me what I do wrong - it will motivate you to finish it on time'. Mr Cobweb said if we don't pay he will release those projects free and he thought it will be motivation for us to pay for his unfinished job.
I knew it is the end of ANY cooperation with Cobweb. Paid project does not work, second works and this blackmail made me angry. I wrote him I will pay for D500 clip after he fix usb box, but there was no answer from him at all. Probably he was mad, because I told him what I think about such cooperation from his side.
Today as you see those projects were released free.

I warn you against Mr Cobweb and any copperation with him. You will not only lose time and money, but also health on dealing with him. It is my opinion, but I know a lot of people - for example members of p-gsm who don't like him after his impolite debut on this discussion group.
Mr Cobweb was banned after few HOURS, because he offended as many members as possible without any reason just to prove he is better than everybody.

I hope you will come to correct conclusion about GSMExp (Cobweb). If you have any doubts or questions fell free to ask me.

yes it is universal box wchih orks on USB port.
It creates virtual com ports on your PC wchih is 4 times faster than standard COM.

GsmSupport wrote that I tell him that i not flash any phone at this box.
Flashing is only way for him to test comunication. He do no understand that we test it upgreading clip on 460800 speed and works fine

the is schematic is able to unlock and flash all phone model

but not flash dct3 phone like 3310 because need lpt1 port

and this is good universel box you need to install virtuel com porte like com4

or com 5 to use

but schemtic need hexa file

the ic need to be programmed to use it

the hexa file get full discrition to the out adress

in my box scheme /first post/ you do not need to program anything.
You do not need any hex files. Just build it and it will be ready to use.

Would anyone be satisfied just to receive scheme? Cobweb make a project, but refused to help in case of problems we had with it and it is 100% truth.
It was his duty to help if we have any problem to build it - no matter if he make it for ie 3000 USD or for a pot of soup. It was his offer about the price and he agreed on this. You could say no way and I would ask someone else to make this project for us. At least we would not have to wait over 1 month to get a scheme. Yes, you lazy Mr. Cobweb !!! 1 month !!!
Right - the only way you used your box was upgrading the clip - this is what you said. I did not buy box to upgrade clips, but to flash SonyEricsson, Siemens etc on high speeds. I think it is obvious for everyone.
Mr. Cobweb is right in one point. I do not know much about electronics and I cannot built such box myself. I have people who can make devices based on supplied scheme+hex etc. They build a lot of devices for me and they work fine.
If you know p-gsm group (over 100 members from elite GSM Services, shops in Poland) please ask about Mr.Cobweb - what they think about him and why they don't cooperate with each other. Then everything will be clear for you.
Besides as you saw Mr. former Cobweb is hidding behind a new nick GSMExp. If he had good prestige and people were saying good things about him -> he for sure would not change to GSMExp. These are facts about Mr. Cobweb.

Box working 100% but you even can not build simple clip with 1 cpu and 1 led and becouse of this you have problems

...this box is build on obsolete Prolific chip wich do problems on manny PCs. All modern USB uniboxes and datacables using FTDI232B chip. With FTDI is no problem comunicate at 921kbps...
