Member: 1825965 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 874 | Already tested ..my personal considerations : 1- for solder smd components best way always hot air station ..for this job and for this station (for me ) preheater is necessary but uncomfortable. 2- for plastic connectors , Fpc , Molex etc. not good , melts the plastic to difference from Tornado infra v1 / v2 thar desolder without compromising the integrity of the object. 3- damage eyes almost like a welding electrodes 4-bad temperature control, curves already in presets: 250/300/350/400 degrees 5- not for desoldering ic's 6- you're forced to use it with glasses (very uncomfortable and not precise job) because without risk to psychedelic trip .. pro : 1- handpiece lightweight and actionable 2- good for desoldering micro usb connector or sim reader bye Last edited by orx; 04-15-2015 at 15:15. |
