how to unlock e808 with redbox? - GSM-Forum

first i need to know if the cable is connected to the com port or to the redbox directly? (because on the picture given on the support area it's about a cable connected to the red box)!
and if it's connected to the com port ! should the cable be alimented 3v or 5v?

i tried with a normal cable but (gnd, tx, rx ) without alimentation but can't connect?

please help
