tried to unlock two phones with red box when i finaly got the program runing i tried the phillips 355 all i got was error the phone switched on but error dose this phone require a speacial lead the one i got in the multi pack didnt work for me so threw that one antried 8120 same again sending boot etc then error i used a powered cable for the8120 but couldnt unlock it and it was still in its plastic not been tried before info and help reg

heres how i unlocked mine,with red box(355)
i bought a special powered lead and connected to a small pcb(9v powered cable).u have to take the phone apart,then u have to remove the kbrd film,then with elastic band connect the baterrie to the phone,then hit the tat mode,then briefly press the on boton on the pcb, u c that the phone comminucates with the soft,then follow the on screen command(u have to put the code in!BUT b4 u do any of the above ,u have to flash the phone with the provided flash file in the support section,very important,good luck
