Redbox may damage it
I tryed to unlock E256 with usercode after that it's rebooting permenetly
2 month ago I succesfully unlocked 10 pcs of E256 with sp-lock
try to read codes with old soft if it will be blabla - don't unlock it with new soft (2.1 corrected)

Only new vle256 can be damaged with direct unlock, so always use read code and then put your code after switching on your phone with a non accepted simcard inside.
