Unlocking New Sagem C4-2... How?


Downloaded the latest version of software and downloaded the picture for the C4-2 pinout...

On the picture I see blue red white and black and on my cable I have different colours... I see how it is on the RJ45 connector and which colour of my cable matches the colour on the picture...

But still not work...

I tried all combinations on the 4 testpoints and still SW says that the phone is found but it's a bad connection and that I must check the testpoints...

So, if it is not a problem for someone from Redbox team, to write which colour exact on the picture matches the colours on my C2/C3/C4 cable connector:

Red =
Blue =
White =
Black =

I have spent all the afternoon to find the combination...

if is TP , look in support one TxT file about color of some cable

Hi Julvir...

Long time no hear and I didn't see you at CEBIT this year

Well, I have done everything as it is described in Color_of_all_cable_TP.txt

Phone connects to software and can read HASH, IMEI etc... but, writes:

BAD CONNECTION, CHECK YOUR TESTPOINTS...

Don't have Sonork, will write you on ICQ mate...

chek your test point first if same problem :
strage HT , please read full flash and send it this HT will be addet

Yes, I get the same message but if I remember good, I get some other HASH ID...

Anyway, it is impossible to read full flash from C4-2 phone until you give us the right pinout... I spoke with Julvir last evening and he said he will try to sort it out with the pinout...

use this :

RJ 45

1 .....8

Red = RJ45 PIN 2
Blue = RJ45 PIN 3
yellow = RJ45 PIN 7
Black = RJ45 PIN 6

use last exe in support site and try solder test point directly to mainboard.. your phone are already supported (Hash :020002)

PS : you can use also Test point from crd2 if our not clear for you ..this is equal pin :

RJ 45
1....8

DB9.9 = RJ45 PIN 2
DB 9.8 = RJ45 PIN 3
DB9.3 = RJ45 PIN 6
DB9.2 = RJ 45 PIN 7

If u get same problem ..and u T.P is correct..just don't remove the screen Led from the motherboard ...one time heppen to me and I find this TIPS..but not 100% solution

well, must say non of the above works... so I will write what I have on my box and cables....


on SWS-SAG box, I have the following (from left to right):

blue red white grey brown yellow green orange


grey brown and orange are going to the small box on the cable and from there these 3 lines are onnected to the bottom connector of the phone RX TX and GND

red white yellow and green are going from the SWS SAG box to the small box on the cable and from there these lines go to the testpoints on the phone like this:

red is green white is orange yellow is brown green is blue

so I have connected the TP's as on the picture in the support section... I also tried to combine it in different ways... the opposite ways...

None work and I get this:

Reading phone info: BAD CONNECTION CHECK YOUR TESTPOINTS
- Phone firmware : 5701000273456 KE3, UC: 070705 1002
- Phone IMEI : 3558... etc...
- Hash table : 17 51 01
- Phone code : 0000


Any other solution to test since probebly tomorrow the phone will be gone

try to put +5v from usb to batery connector many times this solution works.usualy c4 series need this
