Erom the only danger? w850 erom upgrade needed? - GSM-Forum

Hi, I need to flash my w850 on Wotan for one reason: to change the language pack. Is it necessary to upgrade the ERom software also? Because I heard that flashing is pretty safe; the only real danger can come from ERom upgrades. Is this true? I greatly appreciate any help/experience from those who are knowledgable in this subject. Thanks again...

Dont worry, chance to kill your phone using WotanServer is about 0. If any problems appeared just use theyr support page. And please make shure you read everything how to make and what client software writes.

You can flash your erom to avoid future problems like alot K800i have (red light blink) and there wount be any changes to your calibration data like RF part or etc. But in fact, Wotan client shows message when you need upgrade EROM. If there are no such message, just make flash, and dont do anything else that you dont need.
