Is Wotan (eagle.wotanserver.vom) down? - GSM-Forum

Hi all. 1st time user of Wotan and 1st time poster here.

I have paid for one credit to update my W850i with Wotan but am getting the following error (log) from the Wotan client.

RUNNING UPDATE
FTP: connecting to server eagle.wotanserver.com
FTP: connecting to server
error no.: #12029
FTP: FAILED
you should check your internet connection
see wotan.log for more info
UPDATE FAILED
UPDATE: can't open data file
"version/wotan_info.txt": No such file or directory
UPDATE FAILED
================================================== ==========

Is the server down guys or am I possibly doing something incorrectly?

Thanks for the reply but I don't have an option to change to another server with the Wotan client, it is greyed out.

hi,
no you dont need to change to another server, dont lose your credits, i used yesterday, to flash k800 suceessfully. do check yur installation well or try it on another sys. good luck

i totalt new in this, and i wanna flash my Z710 to W810 and i have a swedish verison, i downloaded the client but when i start it it just saying, connecting to ftp, then noting more ?, i did just wanna test if evrythings is okej and working before i buy somting
