hi,i am trying to use this philips add-on included with jaf but i have 2 questions:

1) do i have to use jaf box to "talk" with the phone?i didnt receive ANY philip cables with my JAF box,is this normal or my reseller kept them?

2) i kinda figured out that the right cable for philips 535 is the cable of the 530,can i use UNIBOX to repair the phone?

3)i need to flash this phone(535),in support i got file named 01140111 - 040804.fla in the 535.inf file i read that:

Version: 01140108
Date: 08/04/04
Language Version: 43
Language Pack: WestEurope

hoping that westereurope language pack included italian language now i opened this file where it says: "flash settings",inside LOAD MCU.

the problem is that loading this file will also load the languages or i need to fill the PPM in some ways?

please let me know

P.S:if u have the drivers for the UNIBOX or u can give me a link from where i can download them i will be gratefull!

i just noticed that there is a JAF com emulator,should i use that one? i use com 1 is that ok?

i tried but with the cable that i have it doesnt work(the cable is taken from redbox 2) i should have a cable in the JAF package?

First answer: for philips you do not need jaf box.cables are not included also
Second answer: of course you can use unibox
Third answer language is included inside mcu

Jaf emulator doesn't work with philips software.You should use unibox
No jaf doesn't include philips cables

i was finally able to connect it with unibox but with a philips 535 here is what software says:

Power ON Phone
Conecting

Version: 09428048
Type: CT5358

Unsuported version

why isnt it supported,i thought all models would be supported...?

U should read full flash and send it to support
