Updating NKLip ...

First make shure power adaptor is ok ... about 9V
Second check update cable ...
I have find out that some update cables are not ok.
You can find update cable schematics + update software here ....

http://www.gsmnews.net/nklip/update.rar

To update you need standard interface ( like UNIBOX, FOURIOUS, INFINITY, POLAR etc... try to find one of these ... )

This is 100% correct:
1. Start Update software
2. Select appropriate COM Port
3. Press the clip button and keep pressing
3. Put update cable intro CLIP and into interface ( keep pressing the button )
4. Put power to the clip ( keep pressing button ) ( DCT3 and DCT4 leds must be inactive if all is ok if not try again from step 3 after you remove power and update cable...)
5. Press update in Update Software ( after you select correct update pack )
6. Wait until update begins (1-5 seconds)
7. Release button ...

... Please try to use another interface like normal USB BOX or even better ... normal COM Port Box ...
Also you can try to use normal 9V battery to power the clips and if this dosen't work ... try to use 12 V power supply. + is in the center of connector.. I have never experienced like this transferring ... and after that fail...
If this dosen't work please try to replace the clip ... or if you want i will try to guide you to make some modifications... :-)

also you can try to put 100k ohm resistor on the 5'th line ( pin 5 RJ45 NKLIP connector ) to GND (pin 2 RJ45 NKlip)... modify your update cable this way.

I tried with UFS-3 Port Emulator also the same results

Hi GFI,
I just purchased the NKlip my self. It came with the update cable.
I followed the steps mentioned above and I have the same results like you've described.
Currently I can only unlock Nokia phones with this NKlip. I would like to get it updated so it can also unlock KG800.
Do you have any luck updating the NKlip since last post?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey bro don't be surprise coz everybody cannot update clip ,i've try everything and rebuild a new cable without or with resistor as shown upper but impossible to upgrade as techgsm said. i think we have loosed 70€ but if you wanna unlock KG 800 you're lucky coz cable for KG 800 is working well with free solution and works great with universal box.
Nothing more to say.

Hey Tech,

Did you use power supply on Universal box or not coz i don't give same results with or without power supply.
Try on universal box v2.00 and redbox + same results no upgrade.
