Seems there was a problem on communication beetwen NEC module and dongle. Pls download v1.01 from site. Hope all minor problems solved. Sorry for this minor isue.

PLs dont use battery when unlocking!

And use nec modified cable, be sure u selected good port.

why is there an autoselect? i know my nec port is COM9, yet the software insists on using COM14, 15 ect, when i manually select, the unlock button greys out and cant be pressed??

You need to instal the phone with out the batery
and then will be only 1 new port an use this one

exactyl - if you have installed your phoen before with battery putted or using normal cable then you must uninstall all drivers and install once again usign modifed cable and withtou batter - then all will worksOK and after connecting cable phoen goes into blue screen and then you can run tool (it will automatically detect phone or you can choose manually)

Hi, the total 3G unlocker works 100% great thanks to furious team , here are some topics for how to unlock nec E228 :
1- you have to modifie your USB data Cable respecting the pin out given by furious team.
2- Connect the modified cable to your phone without battery " the phone's screen becom in green color and you'll see some infos on it.
3- install the drivers given by furious team intill the phone's screen becom blue (remember without battery).
4- Now you have to run the total 3G Direct unloker soft.
5- Soft works untill it says "' REMOVE DATA CABLE FROM PHONE '" , so you get your unlocking codes.

Good luck friends and much more thanks to furious team.

Hi; I've forgot an important thing :
You must select the good COM port
1- in system menu of your PC chose COM port settings .
2- chose nec USB OBEX COM PORT ( COM X ). X is the number of the COM port.
