Alcatel ot708 [SOLVED] - GSM-Forum

I have the above handset for unlocking, but it has an unusual firmware version that I have never seen before.

Is it ok to use one of the ones on support?

yes,u can use unlock brand file higher or same from ur present version.

dont fear when using polar box.good luck

Thanks Dani I have done loads of these in the past, But which firmware version is higher than 1A1. Thats my problem.

There are no versions starting with 1A on support.

try with last unlock file on support available,708x alua1 16z .try and share result.

dont worry you can flash your phone using this1:708x_ALAP1_16Q_Firmware(EN_FR_TUR_ARAB).frm

hi mates

i met this one too and am stuck as client is asking me if its possible to leave the firmware as it is since he needs German in it.

apart from Polar tried other tools with no success.

any help appreciated

Don't worry, I used this firmware to unlock my handset and it worked fine 708x_ALAP1_16Q

Sorry, but I forgot to acknowlege the succesfull outcome to my original post.
