Enter Polar support, and download Efs repair. use Odin to flash this file to phone select file as PDA.
Download i9300 root, flash as above mention.
Start phone normal, make tick usb debugging. make sure *#7284# select UART Modem and USB pda.
Then connect and do imei repair,(you must have imie and SN of phone ) this is written on sticker under phone battery.
Seat back and wait to complet all process.
If you gets connecting stuck(waiting phone), do disconnect phone when reboot by Polar soft during process and reconnect to usb after phone boot up.

It won't let me do it via pda in odin as it's a efs file and pda only allows tar, md5 and smd

The efs repair file on polarbox downloads as an efs file and not a tar file, odin won't except a efs file, it'll only except tar, md5 etc, how do I get it to work please?
