Lightbulb Good to Know :::ANSWERED:::

Hi Everyone!!

This time I want to share with all of you, an useful information about PolarBox2. A hour ago I performed (as I usually do) my PC scan for viruses and other malicious software with ESET Smart Security Program (Latest program version and virus database) which detected and eliminated all PolarBox2 files what I had installed in my PC; I know these files are not viruses, however, why ESET program detected like viruses? also Does anyone has got this type of problem as well? (besides me), what could cause this problem?

PolarBox support team you should pay attention about this problem and I hope that you've got some answers or solve them.

Regards,

Hello!!

Thank you for your answer, this is a very strange situation for me, I've checked my ESET program security settings to find out what could cause these problems, however, I haven't find any reason yet.

Well, I guess (as you mentioned) I have to download PolarBox2 files and install on my PC once again.

Regards,

Simply is bad detection of your antivir.
Some softwares detects packers as virii code (nothing important)
Continue using polarbox2 without problem ...

With best regards,

This afternoon, I performed once again my PC viruses/malicious software scan with ESET Smart Security and again this one detected as viruses all PolarBox2 files, however, this time I was able to find the reason because ESET program detect them as viruses/malicious software: The reason is PolarBox2 application/files encription way to protect it from crackers and piracy, ESET considers it as TROJAN.

I hope this information be useful for you.

Best Regards,

This detection is Fauls dectection. Can still detect other applications too.
Use a more realiable Anti virus software for better performances.

All is clear now.

Thread Closed.
