Hello.
Drivers installed ok in a ok working computer.
usb debug enabled.
uart modem and usb pda enabled
android 4.3
i9300xxugmk6
IF I TYPE *#9090# OPTION 4 IS NOT DM over UART, MY OPTION 4 IS RAMDUMP OFF
phone still is not rooted

4.3, must root phone and imput *#7284# select UART modem, USB pda.
your 4.3_root flash with odin and unlock your phone.

In my first post I wrote this: "IF I TYPE *#9090# , option 4 IS NOT "DM over UART", MY OPTION 4 IS "RAMDUMP OFF"
Why this is different from the instrucctions?
If I make a hard reset, does the phone continues rooted?

No, hard reset void root.
Btw you not need hard reset, just do #*0808# on that menu select just mtp+usb and power off phone, remove battery for 30 seconds, restart pc.
start phone and connect to pc, then start polar suite and do unlock.

If all not success and you have nothing to loose in phone, then do hard reset and re-root phone then unlock success. i found this connection probem use too occour with phone prevously having user cache absolute.

finally I made hard reset because when I did this you told me:
... do #*0808# on that menu select just mtp+usb ...
what I saw in the screen was :
usb: ap
usb settings: mtp+adb

So I made hard reset but everythings is equal: polarbox no connect and *#0808# shows me mtp+adb , not mtb+usb as you told me.

Another thing: some times before hard reset but too after hard reset, phone shows this message: com.sec.android.app.clockpackage stopped.

I downloaded samsung usb drivers(general) from polarbox support but no connect.
Please polarbox people, I need real driver for i9300 and it isn´t in your support zone.

needed drivers are inside support and 100% working.
i suggest u to use a clean fresh installed windows, cause maybe u have a drivers conflict.

also u can select phone com port manually in polar software and check if detected.

use i9xxx drivers or simply use download and install kies.

Polar unlock this model without problem

Please sendme you backup or backups files located in you \backups\samsung\ folder
You can locate this files for imei number

- Enable USB Debugger
- Reboot Phone

Install driver

Hello.
In other computer: same problem.
I downgraded phone to 4.1.2 with odin 1.8.5 but now the phone restars all the time.
i used this firmware: I9300XXEMC2_I9300YOGEMD1_I9300XXEMC2_HOME.tar.md5
please, help.

Fistro, I´ve made everything you say, in two computers, but software doesn´t connect with phone. Now I´ve flashed it to older version for trying to unlock but now phone restarts all the time (I tiked "Auto Reboot" and "F.Reset Time" and selected "PDA" ¿but perhaps I made something bad?). I haven´t any files from this phone in the folder you say because it doesn´t connect.
