| e220 not recognized  I need help, I bought a used spanish e220 Voafone branded. I'm trying to unlock it but all stop immediatly... modem isn't recognised from firmware upgrading program. When I connect modem all seems working, windows sees it and request to start installation of dashboard but after .... nothing. Launching kk client and requesting info I read:Looking for phone... Error: Modem port unavailable or busy! I don't know what to do.... HELP. |

| if flasher can't detect it then KK will not detect also. Do U close connectivity software before run firmware updater? it can block ports b.r. Quote:

| Thank you... you are great, I hope this post can help also other users, if you haven't a Vodafone sim the only way to force the individuation is : -installing vodafone software when requested at first connection -disconnect and riconnect the box -KILL Vodafone connection manager from Task Manager, becouse without a Vodafone sim the program doesn't stop using right click on systray icon.
