Member: 384655 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 517 | I wrote about this that if phone have latest firmware version then SEUS can't update it. For sure not many peoples read it... also don't read that this option is for special request and is for own risk usage and we do not take any responsibility by use this option. It was tested and works, don't destroy phone, so is available. All info I wroted at sticky post. If U know somone who have emma access then it can be updated coz emma can update with same sw version. b.r Quote:

You just need to make sure your phone is not the latest fw and a CDA you choose has option for latest fw updating. once you confirm both, you can buy another credit to debrand your phone with SEUE updating. My phone is R7 Orange and I changed my CDA to /7. it went smoothly. |

Is it possible to debrand it using the change cda technique? If so what cda should i change it too? I changed it too cda162007/1 r3a01 and that did not work.. And ideas suggestions? |

Member: 453639 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | CDA is not = FW. Check your CDA by the following link. http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/CDA/P990i I see there is no problem to changed your CDA. Then you have to check your fw by clicking right arrow, *, left arrow, left arrow, *, left arrow, and *. You should see a window as service menu pops up. Check your fw. If your fw is R7EAxxx, then you should be ok to update and to debrand your phone. If you can't do so, then you have to refer back to sony ericisson website for proper procedures to update your phone to the latest fw. However, if your fw is R9E1xxx, then it is a bad news. You need to find some other way to debrand your phone. Technically it works. At least I have no problem changed my CDA and flashed my phone from english based to chinese based fw. |
