w850i problem upgrading - GSM-Forum

I've just unlocked my w850i with this software and it seems to work fantastically! Only problem is when i run the sony ericsson program to upgrade my phone to the latest version it still downloads the 3uk (Three) software and then re-locks my phone again! any ideas on how to get around this and change the way the phone identifies to sony ericsson?

Uhhh U lock back UR phone and for sure U have now CID53 what is not supported yet for unlocking. U need to wait till I'll add CID53 unlocking. This is patch unlocking and was explained that is not full unlock way so any flashing main will lock back phone.

Ok, i'll wait

phone is working fine at the moment, just means i can't upgrade it.

I'll keep my eyes open for the CID53 update!
