Life Timer Expired - GSM-Forum

Hi

When I try to run Programe (moto) it give me error message 'Life timer Excpired, please download lates version' . I have used installer form this thread IQ-Box easy installer On support web the software is even older version then in the installer.

Can any one tell me where to get the latest versions for this box.

Download rar file in downloads section of website named: Module EXE only. Extract files in here to respective folders in IQ-Box folder and run.

Hi

Thanks for your help. I have downloaded and unziped the files as you said, but it still gives me same error 'download latest version'.
The file in your insteller for for moto is P2K_2.0.1.exe, this same as the file I downloaded from suport.
The error message is same from all the modules.

Just a though does the box need activation?. i though it was allready activated. I have tried putting my s/n and activation code in support site to get activation file but it says s/n and acvtivation code does not match.

I puchased the box from Uk reseller.

Yes, you need to copy activation files where the programs are located. Please PM me your s/n and activation code and I will fix on website for you to download.

Thank you for sorting activation files.

I have copied activation file into each of the module, but when I run any of the programe it still gives me same error 'Please download latest version'.

Can you please confirm if these are the latest version

Alcatel_2.0.0.exe
P2K_2.0.1.exe
ODM_2.0.1.exe
Pantech_2.0.1.exe

I have downloaded these few minutes ago from support.
All box Drivers seem to be installed correctley.

Download file named: Module_EXE_only from downloads section on website. Extract into folders where previous programs were copied. For P2K, there is now a new update, you can find the link to download this on the forum.

p.s. in the modules_exe_only folder, the program versions will be named the same as you have already or even less, but ignore this and just copy to folders.

Thank once agin,

I have done exactley what you said, but still same error.

Unfortunatly I am working away for next few days, thats why I have not replied earlier, I get back late in the evening.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but I will keep trying. Could it be that the box needs updating?. if so how do I do it?.

It seems the programe begin to start because when I close error message I can see a window flicks in the back ground.

Uninstall all, download the latest installer by fonefun and re-install. Link to fonefun's installer can be found here: new easy installer

Also don't forget to copy activation files into folders after installation.

I'am back agian

I have had another go with the new installer from the thread above. After installing, when i start any programe it says 'FTDchipId.dll ' not found. I have downloaded the file from one of the thread on here, when I put this file into system32 or the folder where programe is installed, it comes up with error Life timer Expired, please download lates version' . If I delete the file 'FTDchipID.dll' from folder it comes up with error that file not found.

Its oviously installation problem, I have even downloaded dll file from FTD website but I still can not get it to work.

Can you be kind enough to give ftdchipid.dll file which works for you?. just try to eliminate to see if this could be the cause.

You must download latest installer of P2K (2.0.6). Can be found on www.iq-box.org

u have to be sure that your computer clock is in correct time and date this also can make same problem, actualy this problem only can be from this or u useing old ver , not related to activation file at all

The same error I get with this box..and before i write I have tried all the above to no good end...where is the support team with all the promises of good support? I just bought this box and havent used on a single fone and all i get is errors about the life timer.
What is the solution to this problem Pinky??????
