Question concerning My411v

I`ve a My411v which shows "Hardware problem. Mobile blocked" (in german) on Display.

It has Simlock, but I already have got the code from the provider.

Am I right that I`ve to flash and recalc EEprom to get problems solved, or can I do it an easier way (flashing costs 2 Credits), Unlock just 1.

Manual is not really clear to me
