hi nonu

as in manual i tried to repair the imei number, but everytime it says " tip: the imei is a 15 digit code" . I have filled both imei with new and old imei respectively and both are 15 digits. I have given path for old read file.

Now what to do

Procedure to Repair IMEI on Spreadtrup CPU with ET-BoX Plus:
  1. Take full backup of handset using the “Readback” feature.
  2. Go to “SpreadTrum” tab, select “IMEI”, enter the new IMEI in “New IMEI Code” box and the existing IMEI in the handset in “Original IMEI” box.
  3. Select the readed flash file in step 1 in the file location and then press “Start”.
  4. Now a new file has been created in the same folder with new name ending with new IMEI. Just flash this new file to the handset using the “Download” feature.
  5. Your phone now has the new and repaired IMEI.

i hope the instructions are very clear, the procedure is totally different from what we use in MTK CPU. but is very easy. let me explain you again as best i can.

1st u need to take full backup of the flashfile of the handset for which you want to repair the IMEI. means you need to read the flash file of this handset and save somewhere in your hard disk.

now, go to spreadtrum tab, select IMEI, and enter the IMEI which is in the handset in the "Original IMEI" field and the new IMEI which u want to put in the handset in the "New IMEI Code" field. Now click the "..." to select the flash file which you read in the previous step. and then click start.

the software will make a new flash file with new IMEI name in the same folder where you put the original readed flash file. now this new flash file has the new IMEI which u desired. you can just flash it to the phone and your phone will have the new and repaired IMEI.

Please let me know if u still have some problem. i will try to help you again as much as i can.
