About qualcomm unlocking...

Will you now implement qualcom unlock in clip instead of server?

UST has just released standalone full unlock, so...

Its better to use a clip than a box from my point of view.

to avoid confusions,
1st of all;
You need a very powerfull computing device to decrypt and encrypt the unlock system(Its impossible to implement into the clip only PC is more practical)

2nd ;
It uses USB + Serial interface, so the clip need an embedded Host controller which is not so practical to use into a clip.

UST is very late with this solution, EUB was the first team(6months ago), second team was Ultimate-sam(3 months). We also direct unlock the phone, BUT,we dont use SMART CARD to implement direct unlocking so we use server as its more secure.

Hope all is clear,

1st was easy unlocker
2nd was KK ( Kulan Kehndi ) any one can check the history in forum
3rd was Ultimate sam
4th was MicroBox

it is in general about decoding the file which is runtime enabled (watchdog) and find where simlock is stored, read codes or disable simlock flag or set codes to null

OMG, all i meant was that now that qualcomm unlocking is not a secret, maybe it could be implemented into clip, but did not 'affirm' that UST was first to make, or Ultimate Sam or so!

@Spitfire: About second point, Atmel does have MCU's with the capabilities you describe, so 'maybe' could be ported to a clip, but i guess would require a new hardware, which is not what i am asking for.

@all: Thanks for explanations!
