I think the problem is inside the USB cable. Solution At the back of the PCB, you can see a resistor, please desolder it/remove it/. Then try again. If your problem still remains, contact me in private. With best regards spitfire | |

It means that the Updateutility could not communicate with your smart-sam. Please make sure you have the latest Prolific Usb drivers installed on your pc. http://www.smart-sam.net/driver/UsbDriver.exe reinstall the drivers. Check if the LED's on your Smart-Sam Turn-on when you insert the cable into the usb port. (it will flash 3 or 4 times) if the LED remains off then you have install the latest drivers. I have tried with 2 computers Windows XP,and with 2 cables for update but no success.I'm sure my cable number one and PC number one working because my friend have update her clip and no problem. I have solder GND to cover but have same problem "Target not found". Could i send Clip to my reseller for change? PS:Server read serial number and version of clip 1.08 but can't write into clip. |
