I mean, I'm using cb2k for my gd and i'm trying to edit the
personalize menu but the eeprom must be unlocked to do that..

I have solve this problem today!!!
you must write new imei to the phone (original) then746 you will then be able to unlock I spent all day downgrading and upgrading!!!
after I write back IMEI all is ok!
worked 100% for me so anybody having problem like this I advise try this solution :-)

did your eeprom has been unlocked by this way?
and how did you changed your imei?you paid something??

@ SPUNLOCK you dont have to change IMEI you can just rewrite original It worked for me too!
